Ukrainian forces face over 250 daily combat clashes while advancing near Kupyansk and Lyman amid heavy Russian offensive operations.

Frontline engagements across eastern Ukraine remained intense, with Ukrainian authorities reporting between 221 and 254 combat clashes in a single day. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops focused major offensive operations on the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kostiantynivka sectors, attempting to pierce Ukrainian defensive positions. Ukrainian units repelled dozens of localized assaults near key settlements, including Toretske and Dobropillia.

Concurrently, operational reports highlighted dynamic movements along other sectors. Ukrainian forces made progress along the right bank of the Oskil River north of Kupyansk and gained ground in the Lyman direction. In contrast, Russian military authorities claimed control over several settlements near Sumy and reported strikes on ammunition depots in the Kyiv region, while Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov denied Ukrainian advances in Zaporizhzhia.
