Deadly strikes hit Kyiv region as North Korean missile unit deploys to Russia

Russian overnight missile and drone strikes on Kyiv and surrounding areas have killed up to 17 people and injured dozens more, according to Ukrainian officials. Local authorities reported severe damage, including fires and destruction of commercial storage facilities and vehicles in the Bucha district.

Concurrently, Ukrainian military intelligence reported that a North Korean detachment has begun positioning in Russia's Voronezh region. The unit is reportedly equipped with six launchers and around 120 ballistic missiles, dozens of which have already been supplied to Moscow.

On the front lines, Ukrainian forces conducted operations to dislodge Russian soldiers from basements in Kupyansk and captured personnel near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced forthcoming personnel adjustments across Russia's armed forces and Defense Ministry.
