Deadly strikes hit Kyiv region as North Korean missile unit deploys in Russia

Russian forces launched a series of overnight ballistic missile and drone attacks across Kyiv and the surrounding region, resulting in at least 15 to 17 deaths and over 40 injuries, according to Ukrainian officials. The strikes damaged commercial storage facilities, vehicles, and infrastructure across several districts, including Bucha.

Concurrently, Ukrainian military intelligence reported that Russia has begun deploying a North Korean missile detachment in the Voronezh region. The unit is reportedly equipped with six launchers and an estimated 120 ballistic missiles, dozens of which have already been delivered to Moscow.

On the front lines, Ukrainian troops engaged Russian soldiers holding basement positions in Kupyansk and captured Russian personnel near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. In Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced forthcoming personnel adjustments across Russia's armed forces and Defense Ministry.
