Russian strikes hit Kyiv and surrounding areas, leaving up to 17 dead, as reports emerge of North Korean missile units deploying in Russia's Voronezh region.

A large-scale overnight Russian assault utilizing ballistic missiles and attack drones struck Kyiv and the surrounding region, killing between 15 and 17 people and injuring up to 51 others. Emergency services reported extensive damage to residential buildings, transport vehicles, and commercial storage sites, including warehouse facilities in the Bucha district.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian intelligence assessments indicated that North Korean military personnel are deploying in Russia's Voronezh region. The detachment is reportedly preparing up to six mobile launchers capable of operating dozens of ballistic missiles to support Russian strikes.

Along the front lines, Ukrainian forces engaged entrenched Russian units in Kupyansk and captured personnel near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. In Moscow, President Vladimir Putin signaled upcoming personnel reshuffles across the Russian military command and the defense ministry.
