Deadly Russian strikes hit Kyiv region as North Korean missile units deploy to Russia

Russian forces conducted an overnight barrage using ballistic missiles and drones against Kyiv and surrounding areas, killing between 15 and 17 people and injuring dozens more, according to regional officials. The strikes sparked fires and damaged industrial warehouses and transport vehicles across the capital district.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian intelligence and media reports indicate that North Korean missile units are deploying to Russia's Voronezh region. The detachment reportedly includes multiple mobile launchers and dozens of ballistic projectiles intended for operations against Ukraine.

Along the front lines, Ukrainian troops engaged Russian soldiers entrenched in Kupyansk and captured personnel near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced planned personnel changes across the armed forces and the Defense Ministry.
