Russian missile strikes killed up to 17 people across Kyiv and surrounding areas, while a North Korean missile detachment reportedly deployed to Russia's Voronezh region.

Russian forces conducted an overnight barrage using ballistic missiles and drones against Kyiv and the surrounding region, resulting in at least 15 to 17 deaths and over 40 injuries, according to Ukrainian authorities and emergency services. The strikes triggered fires and inflicted structural damage on commercial facilities, warehouses, and vehicles.

Concurrently, Ukrainian intelligence and media reports indicated that a North Korean missile detachment is deploying in Russia's Voronezh region. The unit is reportedly equipped with mobile launchers and dozens of ballistic missiles intended for combat operations.

On the front lines, Ukrainian forces engaged Russian troops in Kupyansk and captured personnel near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced anticipated leadership reshuffles within the Russian Armed Forces and the Defense Ministry.
