Russian strikes on Kyiv and surrounding areas leave up to 17 dead, while Ukrainian intelligence reports North Korean missile units deploying in Voronezh.

Russian overnight missile and drone strikes across Kyiv and the surrounding region have killed at least 15 to 17 people and injured dozens more, according to local officials and emergency personnel. The bombardment triggered several fires and damaged commercial storage facilities and vehicles, particularly in the Bucha district.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian intelligence reported that a North Korean military unit has begun deploying to Russia's Voronezh region. The detachment is reportedly equipped with six launchers and around 120 ballistic missiles, dozens of which have already been delivered.

On the front lines, Ukrainian troops engaged in operations to dislodge Russian soldiers from basements in Kupyansk and took captives near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. Concurrently, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced forthcoming personnel adjustments across the Russian military and Defense Ministry.
