Deadly Russian strikes hit Kyiv as North Korean missile unit deploys to Voronezh

Overnight Russian ballistic missile and drone strikes targeting Kyiv and the surrounding region killed up to 17 people and injured dozens of others. Local authorities reported damage to residential areas and commercial infrastructure, including warehouse facilities in the Bucha district.

Concurrently, intelligence reports revealed that Russia has begun deploying a North Korean missile unit to the Voronezh region. The deployment includes up to six launchers and 120 ballistic missiles intended to facilitate additional long-range attacks against Ukrainian targets.

On the frontlines, Ukrainian forces continued operations against Russian troops occupying positions in Kupyansk and captured combatants near Oleksijevo-Druzhkivka. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced planned administrative and leadership reshuffles within the Russian Defense Ministry and military command structure.
