At least 15 people died in Russian strikes on Kyiv as Ukrainian reports highlight North Korean missile deployments in Voronezh and intense frontline clashes near Pokrovsk.

Russian missile and drone strikes targeting Kyiv and the surrounding region have left at least 15 to 17 people dead and dozens injured, damaging residential infrastructure and triggering widespread fires. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed casualties across both the capital and suburban districts following the overnight barrage.

Concurrently, Ukrainian intelligence and media reports indicate that a North Korean military detachment equipped with up to six launchers and 120 ballistic missiles has begun deploying in Russia's Voronezh region. Meanwhile, Ukraine's General Staff reported 233 combat engagements over 24 hours, with intense fighting persisting near Pokrovsk and Kupiansk, where Ukrainian troops used anti-tank mines to dislodge Russian forces from basement positions. Russian President Vladimir Putin also announced upcoming leadership adjustments within Russia's defense ministry and armed forces.
