Overnight Russian strikes on Kyiv and the surrounding region killed up to 17 people, while reports emerge of a North Korean missile detachment deploying to Russia.

Russian forces launched an overnight barrage of ballistic missiles and drones against Kyiv and the surrounding region, resulting in at least 15 to 17 deaths and over 40 injuries, according to Ukrainian authorities and local reports. Emergency services responded to multiple fires and structural damage, including affected logistics sites and vehicles in the Bucha district.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian military intelligence indicated that a North Korean missile detachment is deploying to Russia's Voronezh region, potentially operating up to six mobile launchers and roughly 120 ballistic missiles.

On the front line, Ukrainian forces engaged Russian positions in Kupyansk and captured soldiers near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. In Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced upcoming leadership reshuffles within the military and the Defense Ministry.
