Airstrikes in Zaporizhzhia and Krasnodar Krai leave eight dead
A Russian glide-bomb attack on Zaporizhzhia and a Ukrainian strike in Krasnodar Krai have resulted in at least eight fatalities and dozens of injuries.
A Russian aerial attack using guided glide bombs on the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia killed at least two people and injured 21 others, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov. The bombardment damaged several residential buildings in the area.
Meanwhile, across the border in southern Russia, a Ukrainian strike on a Black Sea resort in Krasnodar Krai left six people dead, including three children, regional Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported on Telegram. An additional 40 individuals sustained injuries, with 17 requiring hospitalization.
Both developments highlight escalating long-range aerial bombardments affecting civilian areas across the region.
