U.S. President Donald Trump warned of further strikes against Iran following a direct military exchange near Bandar Abbas and Sirik, while Tehran vowed to respond to aggression.

U.S. President Donald Trump has warned of additional military strikes against Iran following the first direct exchange of fire between the two nations in a month near the coastal towns of Bandar Abbas and Sirik. Trump claimed that Iranian leadership is "begging" for a diplomatic agreement with Washington.

In response, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that while Tehran is not seeking broader military conflict, it will "decisively respond to aggressors." Iranian officials also rejected assertions that their maritime assets suffered significant damage, maintaining that naval forces in the region remain fully operational.

The renewed exchange has heightened geopolitical tensions in the region, with both sides exchanging warnings while asserting their readiness to respond to further military actions.
