A US-Ukraine deal to co-produce Patriot missiles will not conclude before winter, while Ukrainian drone strikes hit Russian warehouse sites across several regions, killing at least five people.

A bilateral agreement between the United States and Ukraine to jointly manufacture Patriot air defence interceptor missiles is unlikely to be finalised before the coming winter, according to US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker. Speaking in an interview, Whitaker noted that while long-term cooperation on Patriot missiles remains under consideration, efforts to co-produce other air defence systems alongside European partners continue.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian drone operations targeted logistics and commercial infrastructure in several Russian regions overnight. Moscow Regional Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported that at least five individuals were killed and ten injured following a strike on a warehouse site. Regional authorities also recorded strikes affecting facilities tied to online retailer Wildberries in the Tver and Saint Petersburg areas, while the Russian defence ministry stated it intercepted multiple incoming drones.
