A US-Ukraine agreement on Patriot missile co-production is unlikely before winter, while Ukrainian drone strikes hit warehouses in western Russia, killing five.

The United States is unlikely to finalize an agreement with Ukraine regarding the joint production of Patriot interceptor missiles before the upcoming winter, according to US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker. Whitaker described the specialized defense initiative as a long-term endeavor, while noting that other collaborative air defense manufacturing projects between Ukraine and European partners continue to advance.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian drone strikes targeted logistics and storage facilities across western Russia overnight. Moscow Regional Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported that a strike on a warehouse complex outside the capital killed at least five people and injured ten others. Additional drone attacks reportedly targeted facilities operated by online retailer Wildberries in the Saint Petersburg and Tver regions, amid Russian military interception claims.
