A US-Ukraine agreement on Patriot missile co-production will not be finalized before winter, while Ukrainian drone strikes targeted Russian commercial warehouses, leaving at least five dead.

A long-term agreement between the United States and Ukraine to jointly manufacture Patriot missile interceptors will not be finalized prior to this winter, according to US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker. Speaking in an interview, Whitaker emphasized that while the Patriot deal faces delays, collaborative initiatives with Kyiv and European partners to produce other air defense equipment remain active.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian drone strikes targeted commercial logistics infrastructure in Russia, specifically facilities operated by e-commerce giant Wildberries in the Moscow, Tver, and Saint Petersburg regions. Moscow Regional Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported that an attack near the capital killed at least five people and injured ten others. Russian defense officials confirmed intercepting multiple drones during the overnight strikes on the commercial warehouses.
