The United States has launched air strikes against Iranian military positions near Bandar Abbas and Sirik, marking the first direct military exchange between the two nations in a month.
Following the strikes, US President Donald Trump warned of further military action if Tehran chooses to retaliate, claiming Iranian leadership is seeking a diplomatic agreement with Washington. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian responded by stating that while Tehran does not seek a broader conflict, it will "decisively respond to aggressors." Meanwhile, Iranian military officials refuted reports of heavy damage to their fleet, maintaining that their maritime assets remain operational despite the bombardment.
