A US-Ukraine Patriot missile deal will not be finalized before winter, as Ukrainian drone strikes target commercial facilities near Moscow.

US Envoy to NATO Matthew Whitaker confirmed that a long-term agreement between Washington and Kyiv to co-produce Patriot air defense interceptor missiles will not be finalized before this winter. Speaking to Fox News, Whitaker noted that despite delays regarding Patriot systems, collaborative efforts with Ukraine and European allies to manufacture other air defense capabilities remain ongoing.

Concurrently, Ukrainian military forces launched overnight drone strikes targeting commercial logistics infrastructure across Russia. Strike locations included warehouses operated by Wildberries, a major e-commerce platform, in the Moscow, Tver, and Saint Petersburg regions. Moscow Regional Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported that an attack near the capital resulted in at least five deaths and ten injuries, while Russia's Defense Ministry stated that several incoming drones were intercepted during the operation.
