US prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian agents over assassination plots, while Danish intelligence reported Russian sabotage against defense firms.

The United States Department of Justice has unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of leading a global campaign of targeted assassinations and sabotage against supporters of Ukraine. Federal prosecutors state the network recruited individuals across North America and Europe to surveil and attack targets, including a June 2024 operation in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated that state-backed Russian actors carried out physical sabotage against Danish defense firms supplying military hardware to Kyiv. Danish officials described the actions as a significant escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy. Russian authorities have not publicly responded to the U.S. indictment or the Danish allegations.
