US prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian agents with running a global assassination network, while Danish officials report Russian sabotage against defense firms.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence agents accused of leading a global assassination and sabotage network targeting pro-Ukraine individuals across Western nations. According to the Department of Justice, the suspects recruited and paid operatives to surveil and execute attacks in North America and Europe, including a June 2024 operation in Prague. All five individuals remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark’s Security and Intelligence Service reported that state-backed Russian actors conducted physical sabotage against Danish defense contractors supplying military equipment to Kyiv. Danish authorities categorized the actions as a notable escalation in Moscow’s hybrid warfare tactics aimed at undermining Western support for Ukraine.
