US authorities have charged five alleged Russian agents over plots to assassinate pro-Ukraine targets, while Denmark reports Russian sabotage against defense contractors.

The United States Department of Justice has unsealed an indictment charging five alleged Russian intelligence operatives with conspiring to execute targeted assassinations and physical sabotage across Europe and North America. Prosecutors allege that the network recruited global operatives to surveil and attack individuals and entities supporting Ukraine, including orchestrating a June 2024 attack in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian state actors have carried out physical sabotage against Danish defense contractors supplying military equipment to Kyiv. Danish authorities characterized the acts as a significant escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy. Russian officials have not issued an official response to the allegations.
