A US-Ukraine Patriot missile co-production deal will not be finalised before winter, amid reported Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian warehouse hubs.

A bilateral agreement between the United States and Ukraine for joint production of Patriot air defence interceptors will not be finalised before the coming winter, according to US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker. Whitaker stated that while collaborative efforts to manufacture air defence hardware alongside European partners and Kyiv remain underway, formalising a long-term production pact requires additional time.

Concurrently, Ukrainian drone strikes targeted logistics infrastructure across several Russian regions overnight. Moscow Regional Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported that an attack on a commercial warehouse complex near the capital killed at least five people and wounded ten others. Regional authorities also confirmed drone incidents targeting major e-commerce distribution facilities in Saint Petersburg and Tver, while the Russian Defence Ministry reported intercepting multiple aerial targets.
