Washington has delayed a joint Patriot missile production deal with Kyiv until after winter, while Ukrainian drone strikes hit Russian commercial warehouses near Moscow.

US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker confirmed that a long-term agreement between Washington and Kyiv to jointly manufacture Patriot missile interceptors will not be finalized before this winter. Despite the delay, Whitaker noted that collaborative efforts with European allies to produce alternative air defense capabilities remain ongoing.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian drone strikes targeted logistics infrastructure belonging to Russian e-commerce firm Wildberries across the Moscow, Tver, and Saint Petersburg regions. Moscow Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported at least five fatalities and ten injuries following a strike near the capital. Russian defense officials stated that air defense systems intercepted multiple drones overnight.
