A US-Ukraine deal to co-produce Patriot missiles is delayed until after winter, while Ukrainian drone strikes hit Russian logistics sites, killing at least five.

United States Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker stated that Washington and Kyiv are unlikely to finalize a co-production agreement for Patriot air defence interceptor missiles before the coming winter. Whitaker noted that while interceptor manufacturing remains a long-term aspiration, collaborative efforts with Ukraine and European allies to produce other air defence hardware are currently ongoing.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian drone operations targeted commercial and logistics infrastructure across multiple Russian territories. Moscow Regional Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported that an overnight drone strike on a warehouse near the capital left at least five people dead and ten others injured. Regional authorities added that logistical sites linked to the online retail platform Wildberries were also targeted in the Saint Petersburg and Tver regions.
