A long-term US-Ukraine Patriot production deal is delayed past winter, while Ukrainian drone strikes target Russian logistics hubs near Moscow.

A long-term agreement between the United States and Ukraine to jointly manufacture Patriot air defense missiles will not be finalized before winter, according to US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker. Speaking to Fox News, Whitaker stated that while Patriot co-production negotiations face delays, joint initiatives with Kyiv and European allies to manufacture other air defense equipment remain underway.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian drone strikes hit commercial logistics facilities across Russia, targeting warehouses operated by e-commerce retailer Wildberries in the Moscow, Tver, and Saint Petersburg regions. Moscow Regional Governor Andrey Vorobyov confirmed that an overnight strike near the capital killed at least five people and injured ten others. The Russian Defense Ministry reported intercepting multiple drones during the operations.
