US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over targeted killing plots, while a German court convicted a man over a Russian-directed parcel scheme.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five individuals linked to Russian intelligence for allegedly conducting a Kremlin-directed campaign of assassination, surveillance, and sabotage across North America and Europe. According to court documents filed in Manhattan, the suspects recruited an international network to monitor and attack figures supporting Ukraine, including orchestrating an assault in Prague last year. All five defendants remain at large.

Simultaneously, a regional court in Stuttgart, Germany, sentenced a Ukrainian national for his role in a Russian-backed plot involving dangerous packages. German authorities stated the operation dispatched parcels equipped with tracking devices across European logistics channels to disrupt regional security and instill public distrust.
