US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over assassination plots, while a German court convicted a Ukrainian man over a parcel bomb scheme.

Federal prosecutors in the United States have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of organizing a global campaign of sabotage and targeted assassinations. According to American authorities, the suspects recruited individuals worldwide to spy on and target supporters of Ukraine across Europe and North America. The network has also been linked to a June 2024 attack in Prague, though all five accused individuals remain at large.

Meanwhile, a regional court in Stuttgart, Germany, convicted a Ukrainian national for his role in a Russian-directed parcel bomb plot. German prosecutors stated that the scheme involved shipping explosive packages equipped with tracking devices across Europe to disrupt logistics networks and undermine public safety.
