US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents with global sabotage and murder plots, while a German court convicted a man over a parcel bomb scheme.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of directing a global network to execute assassination, surveillance, and sabotage plots. According to the Department of Justice, the suspects remain at large after paying intermediaries to target individuals supporting Ukraine across North America and Europe, including a June 2024 operation in Prague.

Simultaneously, a regional court in Stuttgart, Germany, convicted a Ukrainian national for participating in a Kremlin-linked scheme to ship parcels equipped with explosives and tracking devices across European logistics networks. German authorities stated the operation aimed to disrupt critical infrastructure and erode confidence in regional security systems.
