US prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence agents over global assassination and sabotage campaigns targeting Ukrainian allies.

United States federal prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian intelligence agents with organizing a global campaign of targeted killings and sabotage against supporters of Ukraine. According to an indictment unsealed in a Manhattan court, the suspects recruited operatives in the US and Europe to conduct surveillance, execute assassinations, and disrupt critical infrastructure.

Simultaneously, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian actors carried out physical sabotage against Danish defense companies producing equipment for Kyiv, characterizing the incidents as a significant escalation in hybrid warfare. All five suspects charged by the US Department of Justice remain at large. Moscow has consistently denied involvement in foreign covert operations and sabotage.
