US authorities charged five alleged Russian agents over assassination and sabotage plots targeting Ukraine allies, while Denmark reported hybrid attacks on defense firms.

United States federal authorities have charged five alleged Russian intelligence operatives with running an international network responsible for plotting targeted killings and sabotage operations against supporters of Ukraine in North America and Europe. According to an unsealed indictment in Manhattan, the suspects recruited and paid operatives globally to conduct surveillance and carry out attacks, including a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five accused individuals remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian state actors executed targeted sabotage attacks against Danish defense manufacturers supplying military equipment to Ukraine, describing the incidents as a notable escalation in hybrid warfare aimed at weakening Western military support.
