US prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian intelligence operatives over plots targeting Ukraine supporters across Western nations.

Federal prosecutors in the United States have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating assassinations and sabotage targeting supporters of Ukraine. The U.S. Department of Justice stated the network recruited global operatives for surveillance and targeted attacks across Europe and North America, including a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

Concurrently, a regional court in Stuttgart, Germany, convicted a Ukrainian national for participating in a parcel bomb scheme linked to Russian state entities. Authorities confirmed the plot involved mailing explosive devices through commercial courier services to destabilize public safety.
