US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over global plots, while a German court convicted a man in a linked parcel bomb scheme.

Federal prosecutors in the United States have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of directing a broad campaign of assassination and sabotage targeting supporters of Ukraine across Western nations. According to American law enforcement agencies, the suspects recruited an international network to conduct surveillance and execute planned attacks, including a June 2024 incident in Prague. The accused individuals remain at large.

Simultaneously, a German regional court in Stuttgart convicted a Ukrainian citizen involved in a parcel bomb scheme linked to Russian state entities. Authorities confirmed the individual worked alongside accomplices to send explosive materials via commercial courier services to destabilize public safety.
