US prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian agents over assassination plots, while a German court convicted a man over parcel bombs.

United States federal prosecutors in Manhattan have unsealed indictments against five individuals linked to Russian intelligence, charging them with organizing a global sabotage and assassination campaign against allies of Ukraine. According to the Department of Justice, the network recruited operatives across Europe and North America to surveil and eliminate targets, including an attack in Prague in June 2024. All five suspects remain at large.

In a related development, a regional court in Stuttgart, Germany, convicted a Ukrainian citizen for participating in a Kremlin-backed scheme involving explosive parcel bombs. German prosecutors stated the packages contained tracking devices sent via commercial logistics services to disrupt operations and undermine public confidence in European security.
