US authorities charged five alleged Russian agents over global murder plots, while a German court convicted a suspect in a related parcel bomb scheme.

US federal authorities have unsealed an indictment against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating a global sabotage and assassination campaign targeting supporters of Ukraine. According to prosecutors, the network funded individuals across the United States and Europe to conduct surveillance, arson, and violent attacks, including a June 2024 assault in Prague. All five defendants remain at large.

Concurrently, a regional court in Stuttgart, Germany, convicted a Ukrainian national for his role in a Russian-linked plot to transport explosive packages across Europe. Prosecutors stated the operation involved sending parcel bombs equipped with tracking devices to undermine public security and disrupt supply logistics.
