US prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian agents plotting assassinations and sabotage, while Denmark reports attacks on its defense sector.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating a global sabotage and assassination campaign targeting supporters of Ukraine.

According to an indictment unsealed in Manhattan federal court, the suspects recruited individuals across North America and Europe to conduct surveillance and execute attacks against targets aligned with Kyiv. The Department of Justice highlighted a network financed by Russian intelligence services, with suspects remaining at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian operatives carried out targeted sabotage against Danish defense companies supplying military hardware to Ukraine. Danish officials stated these actions mark a significant escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy intended to disrupt Western military support.
