US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over a plot to target supporters of Ukraine, while a German court convicted a Ukrainian national over parcel bombs.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating an international sabotage and assassination network aimed at supporters of Ukraine across Europe and North America. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the suspects recruited individuals globally to conduct surveillance and targeted attacks, including a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five suspects currently remain at large.

In a related case, a regional court in Stuttgart, Germany, convicted a Ukrainian national for participating in a parcel-bombing operation linked to Russian state entities. German prosecutors stated the scheme involved mailing packages containing tracking devices to disrupt public trust in European security networks.
