US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over global plot to target Ukraine allies, as a German court sentenced a man over a Kremlin-directed parcel bomb scheme.

Federal prosecutors in the United States have unsealed an indictment against five alleged Russian intelligence agents accused of managing a covert global network aimed at assassinating and surveilling supporters of Ukraine across Europe and North America. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the suspects recruited operatives internationally to execute targeted violence, including a June 2024 attack in Prague. All five defendants remain at large.

Concurrently, a regional court in Stuttgart, Germany, sentenced a Ukrainian national for participating in a Kremlin-directed scheme to transport parcel bombs containing tracking devices across European logistics networks. German authorities stated the operation was designed to destabilize public confidence and disrupt transport routes.
