U.S. authorities charged five Russian intelligence agents over a plot targeting Ukraine allies, while a German court convicted a man in a linked parcel bomb scheme.

United States authorities have indicted five alleged Russian intelligence operatives for managing an international campaign of targeted killings and sabotage aimed at supporters of Ukraine. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the network recruited individuals globally to perform surveillance and carry out violent plots, including an operation in Prague in June 2024. All five suspects remain at large.

Meanwhile, a regional court in Stuttgart, Germany, convicted a Ukrainian citizen for participating in a Kremlin-linked scheme to distribute parcel bombs through European transport services. German prosecutors indicated that an unnamed Russian state entity directed the effort to weaken public security and disrupt logistics operations.
