US authorities charged five alleged Russian agents for targeting Ukraine supporters, while a German court convicted a Ukrainian man over a parcel bomb scheme.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence agents accused of orchestrating a global campaign of assassinations and sabotage against supporters of Ukraine. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the network recruited individuals across the United States and Europe to conduct surveillance, arson, and violent attacks, including a targeted assault in Prague in June 2024. All five suspects remain at large.

In a related security development, a regional court in Stuttgart, Germany, convicted a Ukrainian citizen for participating in a Russian-backed scheme to ship parcel bombs across Europe. Prosecutors stated that the operation involved sending explosive devices concealed in packages to disrupt public security.
