US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over assassination and sabotage plots targeting supporters of Ukraine, as Denmark reported Russian attacks on defense firms.

U.S. federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of directing an international plot involving targeted assassinations and sabotage against supporters of Ukraine. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the network recruited individuals across Europe and North America to conduct surveillance and carry out attacks on targets assisting Kyiv, including a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

In a related development, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated that Russian operatives executed sabotage attacks against Danish defense contractors manufacturing supplies for Ukraine. Danish officials characterized the operations as a clear escalation in Moscow's hybrid campaign aimed at disrupting Western military assistance.
