U.S. prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian agents with plotting targeted killings, while a German court convicted a man over a Russian parcel bomb scheme.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating targeted assassinations, surveillance, and sabotage against supporters of Ukraine across North America and Europe. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the suspects recruited intermediaries to carry out attacks, including a June 2024 operation in Prague. All five individuals remain at large.

Concurrently, a German court in Stuttgart convicted a Ukrainian national for participating in a Russian state-backed scheme to ship explosive parcels through European logistics networks. Prosecutors stated the operation aimed to disrupt critical infrastructure and weaken trust in European security systems.
