US authorities charged five alleged Russian agents over sabotage and assassination plots targeting Ukraine supporters, while Denmark reported Russian sabotage on its defense sector.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence agents accused of managing an international sabotage and assassination campaign targeting supporters of Ukraine. The indictment, filed in a Manhattan federal court, details Kremlin-backed operations across North America and Europe, including a June 2024 attack in Prague and planned killings within the United States. All five suspects remain at large.

In a related development, Denmark’s Security and Intelligence Service revealed that Russian operatives recently executed targeted sabotage against Danish defense firms supplying military equipment to Kyiv. Danish officials described the operations as an escalation in Moscow’s hybrid warfare strategy aimed at undermining Western backing for Ukraine.
