Ukrainian troops and veterans have raised concerns regarding supply deficits, lack of rotations, mobilization flaws, and inequitable recognition within the armed forces.

Ukrainian military personnel and veterans continue to detail internal challenges within the armed forces, pointing to administrative, supply, and logistical issues. Frontline surgeon Bohdan Zhuravel cautioned that prolonged deployments without rotations leave troops exhausted, arguing that authorities have prioritized civilian interests over military needs. Supply management also remains a concern; drone company commander Yurii Butusov stated that unit leaders must independently secure essential equipment due to a lack of institutional accountability in supply distribution. Furthermore, reporting on award practices highlighted systemic inequities, with medals often distributed to staff headquarters rather than frontline soldiers. To address recruitment difficulties, serviceman Pavlo Kazarin advocated reforming draft deferment policies and military medical evaluation boards to create a fairer mobilization system.
