Ukrainian military personnel and commentators have raised concerns over long deployments, supply shortages, and flawed administrative processes within the armed forces.

Ukrainian service members and military commentators have voiced growing concerns regarding administrative hurdles, logistical shortfalls, and systemic inequities within the armed forces.

Frontline surgeon Bohdan Zhuravel warned that extended deployments without rotations leave troops exhausted, arguing that political leadership prioritizes civilian interests over active military personnel. Addressing supply issues, drone unit commander Yurii Butusov noted that frontline officers are regularly forced to resolve daily material deficits independently due to a lack of institutional accountability.

Meanwhile, veteran accounts published by Українська правда pointed to flaws in the military award system, observing that decorations are frequently allocated to headquarters staff rather than frontline soldiers. Regarding mobilization reform, serviceman Pavlo Kazarin emphasized that creating a fairer system requires targeted adjustments to medical evaluation commissions and deferment policies rather than a single solution.
