Ukrainian military personnel and commentators have detailed administrative, logistical, and structural challenges within the armed forces, calling for systemic reforms.

Ukrainian service members and commentators have highlighted a series of administrative and operational shortcomings in the armed forces, urging systemic reforms to improve conditions for frontline troops.

Frontline surgeon Bohdan Zhuravel cautioned that prolonged deployments without replacements severely affect morale, leaving soldiers feeling alienated from society. Regarding supply chain logistics, drone unit commander Yurii Butusov stated that company officers must independently procure necessary operational equipment due to a lack of institutional accountability. Meanwhile, an investigation by Українська правда pointed out structural disparities in how military honors are allocated, noting that recognitions are frequently given to headquarters command rather than frontline personnel. Additionally, serviceman Pavlo Kazarin advocated for reforms to medical examination boards and deferment mechanisms to enhance fairness in mobilization.
