Cross-border drone attacks have struck commercial infrastructure in Russia and resulted in casualties, while frontline combat continues across eastern Ukraine.

Ukrainian drone strikes hit multiple targets in Russia, including logistics hubs owned by online retailers Wildberries in Leningrad Oblast and Ozon in Dagestan. A separate drone attack in Moscow Oblast killed five people and injured ten, while a drone crash on a Krasnodar Krai beach left seven dead and roughly 40 injured.

In Ukraine, a Russian overnight attack on Kyiv killed nine people and wounded 33. Frontline fighting saw Russian forces achieve a tactical breakthrough near Artelne in the Kharkiv direction, while Ukrainian troops advanced toward Uspenivka. Additionally, Belarus announced plans to form a new air assault brigade along its southern border with Ukraine.
