Ukrainian drone attacks caused casualties and structural fires in several Russian regions, while Russian strikes targeted Kyiv and frontline positions.

Cross-border strikes and frontline engagements escalated as Ukrainian drone attacks caused multiple casualties and structural damage across Russian territory. In Moscow Oblast, regional officials confirmed five deaths and ten injuries after commercial infrastructure was targeted.

In Leningrad Oblast, air defenses intercepted 17 drones near Krasny Bor. However, falling wreckage sparked a fire at a major Wildberries e-commerce warehouse, resulting in one worker being injured. Further south in Krasnodar Krai, a drone crashed onto a beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka, leaving seven people dead—including three children—and roughly 40 injured.

Simultaneously, Russian forces carried out overnight strikes against Kyiv, killing nine people and injuring 33 others. On the ground, Russian troops claimed a tactical breakthrough near Artelne in the Kharkiv region, while Belarus began forming a new air assault brigade along its border with Ukraine.
