Ukraine targets Russian commercial sites as casualties rise on both sides

Cross-border drone strikes and military operations have intensified, hitting critical commercial infrastructure and causing civilian casualties across Russia and Ukraine. Ukrainian drone attacks targeted major Russian logistics hubs, hitting facilities belonging to e-commerce companies Ozon and Wildberries. The strikes disrupted operations and drove Ozon shares down by nearly 30 percent.

In Russia, drone impacts in Moscow Oblast and a beach in Krasnodar Krai left 12 people dead, including three children, and dozens injured. Meanwhile, a Russian attack on Kyiv resulted in nine deaths and 33 injuries.

On the battlefield, Russian troops secured tactical advances near Kharkiv and Kostiantynivka, while Ukrainian forces progressed toward Velyka Novosilka. Belarus also announced the formation of a new air assault brigade along its Ukrainian border.
