Trump warns Iran as US postpones Ukraine Patriot agreement
U.S. President Donald Trump described Iranian talks as a final chance for a deal, while Washington delayed a Patriot agreement with Kyiv and strikes hit Russian targets.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that active negotiations with Iran offer Teheran its final opportunity to conclude a comprehensive agreement, adding that the effort receives backing from regional partners including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. While Washington maintains military readiness, Trump confirmed that talks are proceeding rapidly.
Simultaneously, U.S. Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker acknowledged that a joint production agreement with Kyiv for Patriot air defense interceptors remains unlikely prior to winter, despite ongoing bilateral and European defense cooperation.
In Russia, Ukrainian drone strikes targeted facilities belonging to e-commerce firm Wildberries across the Moscow, Tver, and Saint Petersburg regions. Moscow Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported at least five fatalities and ten injuries following an attack near the capital.
