US President Donald Trump reported an agreement to stop energy strikes, while fighting in Kherson, Belgorod, and Sochi caused casualties and the EU extended sanctions against Russia.

US President Donald Trump stated that Russia and Ukraine have agreed to stop targeting energy infrastructure, though heavy fighting continues across multiple regions. Local Ukrainian authorities reported two deaths and 14 injuries following shelling in the Kherson region. Meanwhile, Ukrainian drone attacks reportedly injured seven people in Russia's Belgorod region and the Black Sea resort city of Sochi.

In Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky officially signed an executive order removing the country's prosecutor general from office. Concurrently, the European Union renewed sanctions against Moscow after a Russian missile strike near the Polish border, which top EU diplomats condemned as a deliberate attempt to intimidate and divide European allies.
