At least five people were killed and 16 injured following widespread Russian artillery and drone attacks across Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region.
Russian forces launched nearly 60 bombardments across five districts in Ukraine's eastern Dnipropetrovsk region over a 24-hour period, leaving at least five people dead and 16 others injured, according to local emergency services.
The intense shelling and drone strikes severely affected several areas on day 1625 of the full-scale conflict. In the Kamianske district, three individuals lost their lives while five sustained injuries. Further strikes in Pavlohrad caused two additional fatalities and injured seven people. Local authorities also reported casualties and extensive damage to civilian infrastructure in the Nikopol district. Firefighting units deployed across the region to contain multiple blazes sparked by the artillery attacks and manage search-and-rescue operations.
